# Preview a pasted list

> Splits `text` on newlines and commas, trims each piece, drops the empty ones and keeps a repeated name (trimmed, ignoring case) once, with its first spelling. Each line says what `POST /v1/shopping/items` with that name would do now: `sumsInto` is the open item it sums onto, with that item's place and confidence; otherwise `placeId` (a place tab) is `confirmed`, and without it the place is inferred from the house's own history, `assumed`. At most 50 lines, each a name `POST /v1/shopping/items` accepts. Writes nothing.
