# Create a token

> Create a personal token in the app, keep the key, and revoke it when you are done.

## Create one

1. In the app, open **Ajustes › Integrações**.
2. In the **Tokens de API e MCP** card, choose **Criar token**.
3. Give it a name that says where it will be used, such as `Claude Desktop`, and choose **Criar**.

The key, `onss_live_` followed by 32 characters, is shown **once**, in the dialog that opens. Copy it
then and keep it in your client's configuration: after you close the dialog, the app shows only a
masked version, such as `onss_live_••••3f9a`, and nobody can show you the key again. If you lose it,
revoke the token and create another.

The dialog also shows the setup for each client, Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and claude.ai,
with the key already in it, ready to copy (see [Connect a client](/connect)).

Create one token per client, up to 10 active tokens per person. Each row in the card says when its
token was last used, and revoking one does not stop the others.

## What a token can do

A token acts as you, with your role, in the household you created it in. If you belong to more than
one household, create the token in the one the assistant should see.

A token cannot list, create or revoke tokens: that is done only in the app.

## Revoke it

In the same card, choose **Revogar** on the token's row and confirm. Everything that uses it stops on
its next request, and it cannot be undone. Leaving the household stops all of your tokens there the
same way.
